Avalon choses its associates carefully and there is only one site we have chosen for our "out of character / out of game" forums: The Meeting Place. The site's name derives from the very first gathering location in Avalon and to this day its public chat-area is called "The Halfway Tavern" after the establishment on the Mercinae to Parrius highway on the edge of the Grey Forest. This is the only site other than Avalon's own website (www.avalon-rpg.com) supported by the entire pantheon of Gods and Creators.
The Meeting Place is open to all-comers (though you must create a persona with a valid e-mail) and if you match it with your Avalon character, it will automatically gain access to private/exclusive areas like the forums for each city with library of resources, for each profession with discussion of latest topics, abilities, techniques, forthcoming skills (at times your voice could help define the land for years to come).
NOTE: the Meeting Place is separate to Avalon's internal bulletin board - which also contains diverse sections for player posts, debate and announcement (see HELP BB) - and many regular users of the former, though they may be on hiatus from Avalon, remain closely interested and regularly contributing to Meeting Place content. Many legendary names of the past can be personally reached via their Meeting Place avatars. It is an independent though official sanctioned separate website.
Users may create their own private areas, control invitation and define content - completely independent of any external influence. Private messaging, real-time chat, personal profile and wall, Facebook, Pinterest, LinkedIn and Google import and sharing, latest news and announcements (including Avalon events in the near future), player polls, diaries and curiosities, logs and historical archive: all this and more at: Vale of Avalon
The Meeting Place also houses Avalon's "player support" centre where you can post queries, read articles, open 'tickets' for problems or bug reports, resolve administrative issues or simply pose questions to the Gods/Creators.
