Quest for the Topaz
Stage 1) Group Battlesands - Points to be awareded as follows:
Top point getter will receive 15 GEM points. Runner up 10pts. Third and Fouth - 7pts. 5-8 will get 5pts. 9-16 will receive 2pts.
Stage 2) Individual combat - Group knockout. Everyone will enter the an arena. The only way to leave will be on the Ship of Death. The final 20 will earn points in reverse order with 20 points going to the final individual.
No staves will be allowed in. Trapping IS allowed, however any trap laid will NOT be loyal (thereby affecting the layer as well). Additionally, there will be no catting in the Arena. Finally, the ONLY means of rebirth is via a resurrection potion or olvar. Any other methods will see the competitor removed from the ARENA and considered at the back of the pack.
Stage 3) Group combat - Group knockout. Stage one and two will determine the rankings for Stage 3. The top 10 scorers so far will choose 2 teammates in order (the leader choosing first and eleventh, second place having the number 2 and 12 picks and so on).
The 10 teams will then be placed in the Arena. A team is eliminated when 2 of 3 teammates are in ghost form at the same time. A premium is placed on not only aggression but also protection of your team. Points will be awarded in the follow way (highest points within a group going to the MOST kills within round 3).
Final group out - 50, 45, 40. Second place 30, 25, 20. Third place 15, 15, 15. Fourth place 10, 10, 10. Fifth place 5, 5, 5
Each team will be allowed to take in ONE stave with a maximum of 4 runes on it. No other staves will appear. Any ability to restore life IS allowable save the heart demon.
