Credit costs nothing for you to play continuously, but you pay for the growth of your character piecemeal
CREDITED status is the default for everyone. You are allowed to continue playing with what you have, but will not grow without incredible effort.
Every novice begins with a set number of free days similar to a bronze subscription. When these days expire, or for non-novices when a cancelled subscription ends, you revert to the CREDITED state.
As a credited player, you may play normally:
=+ can use abilities you have gained so far
=+ can use lessons you earned or bought so far
=+ can acquire free lessons from raising level
=+ can run for high office as a senior
=+ can hold ministerial position as a middling
=+ can purchase crowns and procure lessons
=+ can use public aliases and preset variables
Playing by credit differs from subscription in terms of services and influence:
=- cannot gain free crowns and lessons from tasks, chapters, and quests
=- cannot be field marshall, guildmaster, or prince, unless you hold it already
=- cannot define or use your own Avalon triggers, aliases, or variables
While playing credited, you will need to regularly purchase crowns and procure lessons to grow.
See CURRENCY and HELP PROCURE for the real-time rates to buy crowns and lessons.
See CHARGES and HELP PAYING for the process of setting a payment method.
