Toecutter is a citizen of Thakria.

He holds Elder rank in the Brigands Guild.

The Toecutter was born in the slums of Thakria's eastern quarter, grew up among the foul-mouthed and fouller denizens of the river and inner lakeside docks. He learned to steal and to fight early and he learned he was safest alone, trusting no-one, asking no quarter and offering none. He was one of the first to join the Thakrian Thieves Guild and the first to kill within its halls... for the Toecutter is a man alone, haunted by strange habits and oft-whispered pecadillos.

Little else is known of him except the tale of his name "Toecutter" for he was not always known thus. It comes from the way he treats the bodies of those he has slain for the Toecutter is a collector and motivated by avarice - hence the rumour of his taste for the role of assassin-for-hire. Before rigor mortis, the Toecutter has left his mark on the corpse, his macarbre souvenier removed: the little toe for a single revenge or meaningless kill, the fourth for a job of professional impersonal, middle toe to revel in the murder for its own sake, second as a sign of intent and a clue to look deeper; and the big toe snipped neatly off the foot of lifelong enemies, never to be forgiven, never to be forgotten.

Toecutter was noted as having became a certified True Fighter - completing the TRUEFIGHTER deed - in days of yore. Recognition came in Springflower 1380 aDW.

He is known to be active in Avalon at this time.
