There are many ways to submit your ideas for additions to the Avalon gamesystem but we suggest you stick to the IDEA command or e-mailing firstname.lastname@example.org since those will most quickly reach judicious eyes and solicit a response.
Syntax: IDEA <text>.
We are always happy to receive ideas for additions and improvements to the Avalon gamesystem and over the years countless excellent contributions have been made by players of all role-backgrounds. The IDEA command, like BUG as described in HELP DEVELOPMENT and HELP BUGS, requires you to be succint but inclusive in the space of just a sentence or two. It is perfect for new "emotes" or small-but-significant tweaks to the gamesystem.
If your idea is more complex, however, or you need more room to express yourself it is better to send an e-mail to email@example.com if rough suggestions or firstname.lastname@example.org if fully written-up contribution.
Using the submissions e-mail address will ensure your contribution is read and considered throughly, at the appropriate time. This can make a difference when suggesting something of more ambitious scope. Make sure you have avalon-rpg.com on your "whitelist" so the replies do not end up lost in a spam/junk filter. You can submit ideas for inclusion in Avalon any time you like.
Before submitting written text (i..e. finished product) contributions to Avalon you should familiarise yourself FULLY with the contents of HELP FORMAT. This is VERY important. There are a number of guidelines you must follow when proposing content for inclusion. This is particularly relevant when contributing to the CRAFTING database or personalising your constructions (home, guildhouse, etc).
Remember to keep a regular eye on Avalon amendments by typing UPDATES, to keep up-to-date with the latest "for public consumption" fixes, amendments and evolutions in the gamesystem.
