The ACQUIRE command is used to receive or request to receive specialist skills once you have mastered your professional class i..e. taken all of your guild skills to their very limits. There is normally a minimum number of Avalon years needed before you can attain your first specialist skill and often over an Avalon century to receive the second.

Syntax: ACQUIRE <specialist skill>.

Sends a message to all specialists in your profession that you wish to receive or request to receive the specified specialist skill. This specialist skill will either be given out automatically and join your SKILLS list or it will need one of the specialists hearing your plea to sign off on your advancement.

Each profession is a little different so examine the specifics for your own class to learn the route to specialist knowledge, e..g. the Knight must finish the grail quest, the Mage must resonate Elementalism, the Thief must be admitted into the brotherhood, the Ranger and the Druid must receive presentations from their fellows and gain great affinity with the forests and the Sorcerer must build his altar of blood and the Loremaster must be accepted by the Council of Lore.
