Once again, I have taken the mantle. Even though my friends and guildmates (the non-mantle wearers, anyway) hoped I would try existing without it. Maybe someday I will, but I really like it.

Being a pacifist allows me to do so much I cannot when without the protection of the mantle. As I have many duties and activities I must perform for the Animists Guild and Springdale, it frees me from constantly having to defend myself and do my chores in peace.

True, it does limit some of my skills, and this can be frustrating, but I find ways to conpensate, so it's all good. I don't really like hurting anyone, even while defending so why should I?

The one myth about being a Pacisfist I wish I could dispell is, that it is boring. Nothing could be further from the truth! Sometimes, I am so busy that I have to ask the Gods for strength (and mana) just to meet the urgent needs of others. And I'm never bored, even when not too busy. You can take time to really learn about Avalon if you're not having to take form or use all your mana in some other defensive manner. I love doing quests and just wandering about, picking herbs and healing people.

It's a good life. Praise Lord Aladron for granting us this marvelous gift!
