I was under the impression a gem was earned and meant to be used by the awarded gem winner. Its is an earned right which Culinane fully deserves. Though minor to someone of Culinane's caliber there is a drawback to holding a gem. Gems also are

only a temporary thing.

I believe all mortals also 'earn' a unicron or steed (such as Kylan's Wyrven) upon reaching all Ultimate skills. This also I beleive is an earned right, many people have such steeds and have earned them by persistance.

Someday you may earn a unicorn or if you work hard possibly a gem, I bet your point of view will change when that time arrives, although you may still use city ccc's which I do not see Culinane do.
