I have personally accepted that there is little that can be done to switch back
to the time when skill and the ability to input coherent commands under pressure
were required to fight. It is too true that these days the computer does most
of this for the 'fighters' of this day and age.
It is unlikely that Avalon will become javalon only, so the best course of action
would be to configure your system so that you can beat the crap out of Finbar on
Zmud and off Zmud.
Although nothing material has come out of the recent posts, it is very interesting to
note that it seems your offer of a challenge whereby you lose skills and the other
party loses nothing was not accepted. Perhaps the label of being a complete zmud trigger
robot player is too much of a prize for the loser in question.
