It is entirely possible that a bard can support another bard before the start of a challenge thus allowing at least partial use of two man songs. Following your logic this would be acceptable during a challenge, and dying to aria would be a legitimate
win for the bard.
Here is another scenario. You agree to fight me in a challenge. Before we start Allanon purposely sets up staves all over Avalon including all the favourite mage fighting locations. We begin the challenge. I use fear, push, thrustkick tactics. The sta
ves do most of my work but a jab at the end gives me a named kill. According to your logic, because the staves were placed before the challenge and Allanon spent the time happily chatting to girls, then my obvious use of another individuals skillset i

Incidently, if any warlock uses two man rits on me during challenges I will of course return the favour by making a point of killing both the dancers whilst they are engaged in a mutual challenge with someone else. An eye for an eye and all that.
