If I was to make the decision to drop the duellist status then I am making a conscious decision to fight until death or until they leave the walls.

If I die, then my life potion would kick in and I would still be without duellist protection(Unless) the attacked has left the walls. So I would say your duellist status is gone until 1 of 2 things happen. He leaves the city or he ships. Otherwise you are stuck with your own choice of dropping the protection.

Anything is possible with the experienced coders Avalon has, it's just a matter of getting support, and bringing it to the pantheon.
