DIAMOND GEM QUEST INFORMATION

In an attempt to provide a large number of people with the opportunity to participate in a gem quest, the format of the Diamond Gem Quest will be spread out over two days with a choice of participation times.

FIRST ROUND-You must attend two times with your scores of the first two times only counting.
TIMES-9 am GMT/4 am EST, 5 pm GMT/Noon-EST, Midnight GMT/7 pm EST

The rounds will be around 2-3 hours long and will be of identical format. The intent is to START at these times so arrive early to ask questions and get settled in.

The traditional format for this quest is a test of mental powers so expect things like quizzes and find the divine in this round.

There is no spectating or "checking things out" in this quest. If you enter the quest room, you will automatically be entered as a contestant and your score or lack therefore will be recorded officially toward the quest results.

SECOND ROUND- The top 6 scorers from the first round will move on to the second round. (Number of people advancing subject to change at the discretion of Proteus depending on the quality of the competition in the first round.)

People advancing must present themselves at one of two times- 7 pm GMT/2 pm EST or 10 pm GMT/5 pm EST

(These times subject to change if there is significant concern expressed to Proteus prior to start of Gem Quest. Trying to choose times when most are available)

This round will most likely be shorter than the first, but quite a bit more challenging mentally to the contestants. Whomever achieves the highest score in this round will be declared the winner of the Diamond of Magic.

SCORING

A running total of the standings will be available by using the DEITYLEAGUE command. Scores from the quizzes won't be recorded until the quiz is over.
