1.3 Charges for Avalon, and purchasing credits.
Avalon is a charged game - monthly subscriptions are purchased by credit card via the SUBSCRIBE command. Type CHARGES for pricing details. The monthly subscription is all-inclusive. You do not need to 'pay' a penny more to gain access to full and comprehensive character development.
New accounts are always given fifteen to twenty free hours to see whether they enjoy Avalon enough to consider subscribing, or they may choose the introductory offer if they are unsure how many hours they will play. Typing CREDITS at any time will show hours remaining on your account or the number of days you have remaining until your next subscription is due.
Subscriptions tend to be purchased using credit or debit card and we have an automated system for handling this 'necessity' and if you type SUBSCRIBE you will be taken through a secure mechanism for entering the relevant details and then gaining the option to subscribe to Avalon. See CHARGES for up-to-date costs and product information. Subscription or other purchase should be made in US dollars (though we are also able, by arrangement, to accept British pounds and the Euro). If you use a credit or debit card you will automatically find any charges translated into your local currency on your card's bill at, in most cases, a very reasonable rate.
You may wish to purchase products from the Avalon store, such as the anniversary Great Book or the invaluable Avalon manual. Information on the Avalon store and purchases can be perused by typing HELP STORE.
