CORAL GEM QUEST

To prove your worthiness to hold the Coral of the Sea, you must find and possess one each of an oar, ships wheel and sail (No, the Black Galleon's sail doesn't count.)

You will find one of these items laying about the land in a locale associated with Proteus' watery realm. Possession of one of each of these items gains the holder admission to the next phase of the quest.

There are no restrictions as to how you acquire these three items. However, since the quest will not progress to the next phase until enough people qualify, holding more than one of each item in the hope of denying it to others will only serve to delay the continuation of the quest.

Proteus desires to bestow the blessings of the sea upon mortalkind. Should he take umbrage at what he views as a concerted attempt to thwart his desire, he reserves the right to punish those who offend him and redistribute any of the quest items that may be involved.

The only location Proteus will deem inviolate for theft and or slaying will be in his presence at the Meeting Place. Therefore, the first phase of the quest will not be considered complete until all items have been brought before him at the Meeting Place.
