Certainly there is knowledge and skill in using your skills. I don't mean to detract from the abilities of many players to fight well. But the speed act which combat is lethal means that I feel at all times I must be watching to avoid death. Again it gets back to the game feeling more like a somewhat abstract video game rather than any 'roleplaying'.

Anyway, so Avalon was not to my tastes. Enjoy everyone.
