And the rest of Thakria
#27035

Back in the days of my youth, before most of you were even born, Thakria was THE city to be reckoned with. The City of Miracles indeed! Full of top generals and fearless fighters, pretty much ruling the world. Having watched them since my return, I sadly struggle to see the point! You may even now be even less relevant than Silverfalls. Whats going on, Thakrians?

I have observed two Thakrians since my return who stand out as actually having a pair on them. Charlamane, Veradux, you have my respect. Hr Royal Highness is another matter.

Whenever Thakria succeeded it was because it had leaders who believed in being an example. Now it has you, Necrophona. The tales I have been told disgust me. You are happy to sit by and do nothing while your city is robbed, your men are bribed and killed, your citizens are murdered and your legions are relieved of tribute. You hide in your guild behind globestaves, only coming out to team and with a full deck of pretty amazing skills, you rely on aria and yarl. You encourage teaming on a huge scale and now your citizens wonder why the rest of the land has had its fill and will put aside their differences to get their own back and most importantly, you leave your poor pet dog locked up inside those inner barracks for days on end.

You pride yourself on being a cheat and a liar. You shout and trumpet about how good you are and while your delusions of competence may fool your current citizenry - they do not fool the rest of the lands. As a former contender and ordination finalist, I can assure you, from experience, that when you actually have a reputation built on action and not smoke, you don't need to shout to back it up.

Perhaps all the pomp and drama and noise is just a screen for your own irrelevance - and that is something that even fireflies can't cure.

Thakria, sort yourselves out.

Clara, wondering whether you'll post a response yourself or whether you'll bring seven other people to post back with you.
