Damage and Combat Balance

I would like to take this opportunity to remind everyone about CASE DAMAGE - this will illustrate some of the 'maximums' that are in play in terms of damage taken in combat. These maximums except under VERY specific and hard-to-achieve circumstances, are absolute. That means when CASE DAMAGE says that a maximum single strike cannot exceed 40% health damage that despite the obvious fuel it adds to your complaints, you are not in fact being blackhanded, cried or brillianced for 50%. Simply not possible.

Avalon is still in an intensive development phase and combat balancing is an ongoing process. I will remind you all however that fun as it may be to gripe, it is (I am told) far more fun to actually participate and report issues to the few who can actually do something about it.
