Today's Immortals Combat Tourney saw some well fought action.
First round was a battle between Joely, Zio, Laramyn, Akame, Archaeus and Zand
Laramyn made the first kill of the tournament, but Zio and Joely made two kills
each and advanced to the next round along with Akame who won points for being
the last one slain.
Second round was Lleu, Gareon, Niun, Xion, Sloane and Xyla
Niun impressed all spectators with her flawless victory killing all comers.
Gareon and Sloane advanced by virtue of being her last two victims.
Those who came in last in the first two rounds fought each other in a 3rd
preliminary round to see if they could earn a place in the finals.
Living up to the promise shown with the first kill of the tournament, Laramyn
made three kills and Xyla one kill. Rominus, standing in for Lleu, advanced for
being one of the final people slain.
The final round saw a change of venue from the Battle Isle to the Battle Arena.
There was also a slight change of rules preventing combatants from fleeing once
a battle had been joined.
It was the fierce, bloody spectacle we had hoped it would be. It was difficult
to even track kills as Niun quickly racked up 4 kills. Laramyn made one kill.
But Joely made three kills, including Niun. His status as the last one standing
gained him enough points to move past Niun and he stood supreme with the fierce
Niun coming in second and Sloane surviving long enough to gain points for third place.
Congratulations on a well fought series of battles. We hope everyone enjoyed
themselves.
