WARFARE between legions including besiege, plundering and razing will be returning to full activation this weekend. Today Friday will be the last day off assured safety for your armies. I am figuring on the official SWITCH ON at midnight by the Avalon clock at the end of Saturday. Be warned!


The newly reactivated warfare will not be particularly different to how it was before in terms of the results of combat or siege. The main difference is a bunch of much more intuitive commands, easier to follow info given back by the commands you use and, most important, all forty significant reported bugs/exploits fixed and tested.


I offer an open invitation to the military leaders in all cities to be part of the final stress test on Saturday evening. This will include tutorial and invaluable real battlefield experience including fortification siege.


Some of you may already have noticed HELP 21 and HELP 22 are altered. These both cover the warfare system but have been split off: HELP 21 is for the political/economic and sphere of influence/tributes (i.e. the consequences of war) while HELP 22 is the \"howto\" for Field Marshall, generals, legion commanders (i.e. how to wage war, how to control legions and lead on the battlefield).


The finished version of HELP 22 will be updated Saturday at MIDNIGHT (or a little before) so it will be accurate and comprehensive for the full return of legion fighting at that time. Today: enjoy the Rite of Union. The festooning will take on its long-term impact on Avalon and the fractals will get what is coming to them.
