livestock auction follow up.

Proteus, god of the seato Everyone

Fewer people attended the livestock auction than I had hoped. As I had noted,

given the state of the land, my goal was to auction off livestock at generally

reasonable prices. I had expected more people to take advantage of that opportunity

Still, there were a fair number of people present and some good breeding stock

has been introduced to the land.

One particularly heated exchange occurred with chicken and rooster purchasing

After Deadeye purchased a pair of hens and a rooster for a reasonable amount, he

started a bidding war with Xion, continually pushing the price up.

Perhaps he hoped to keep Silverfalls the sole supplier of eggs in the future.

Eventually Xion prevailed, but what a price that was paid. Perhaps we are seeing the

beginnings of a Coop War.

Still, a foundation for the future has been established. Long term, those who

purchased today may find their efforts invested today will save gold and labour

in the future.
