I am old, some are older but many are younger, yourself included. I have not always been active, but I am quite observant and I have watched a lot of elections, barons and such and feel I have some idea of what is what. You say age and fighting ability don't really have anything to do with being a baron. How does one learn an understanding of a city and calm leadership without having lived? I am well over 200 years old and have never been a baron, nor have I really wanted to. If I had to choose, I
would rather have an active barony who can fight and help defend the city they choose to serve, then sit around watching their city get invaded and unable to do anything about it. I don't know about you or anyone else, but I couldn't be a baron or even a minister and not get involved. But then, I left Animists a long time ago because I hated not being able to fight for the ideas and people I love. It has been a long long time since I ever chose pacifism, quit that before I even left the animists, a
nd I would rather be slaughtered then choose dualism, which is a lot like being pacifist if you don't ever fight. But again, I am old and set in my stubborn ways and was a knight for a long long time, well knight profession anyway. Thank you.
