Bears live in Da Woods especially thos who are members of the Order of Maedhros who is the Patron of the Foress. That includes Springdale Forest, Whisper Wood, Black forest - you name it. +

If you stop to wave at a bear and the bear waves back, consider it friendly and walk on. I don't HAVE to explain my presence to you -- but if you wave to a BEAR and it growls or shoots arrows at you p- RUN - *grin
