You will find there are many more doors in the land now than are necessary
as, to save cities and guilds the expense/time of carting new doors and
lock mechanisms we have divinely populated the land with doors anywhere
plausible/useful/previously door'd. However, a lot of these are redundant
and can be used mischeviously - locked because of their weak locks to
thwart younger citizens, etc. Hence the proposal is that all important
doors are retained and it is now up to the high ranking guildmembers and
citizens to see about the strengthening/improving of their significant
doors and locks. This should begin immediately. See HELP LOCKS for important
information on both the concept and some specifics - essential reading
for city/guild/home security.
As for the inconvenient or redundant doors, bring them to the attention
of any deity and in a flash they can be removed. For the time being I
recommend doors at shop entrances, or making barriers to areas where
security isn't important - these should be brought to divine attention
for removal. Certain ones can always be refashioned and put into place
once the important security issues have been handled; ideally with highly
personalised locks to thwart the casual lock-'em'-up mischief maker.
