At the beginning of the coming Avalon year the village of Oakwood's End,

a relatively poor and needy community, will come under the individual

leadership of Fatalus. Fatalus will, of course, be required to swear

an oath of loyalty to Oakwood's End and will no longer be able to

hold citizenship of Springdale but by dint of his huge individual wealth

and commodities brought under the banner of Oakwood's End, he has

been able to persuade the village to accept him as their sole

leader.
