In general I agree with you, mine sealing is just vindictive.

On this occasion it was an iron mine, iron that would no doubt have ended up strengthening your city fortifications. My decision to prevent that iron falling into you hands was a purely strategic decision.

I'm not sure why you think someone else with me, when in fact I was on a solo mission.

You should also note that as part of a peace initative we offered Parrius a very generous treaty, that included a reciprocal clause about leaving miners in peace. Your city rejected the offer.
