Mephisto, god of the nightto Zakath

As per the previous post, I include here scenarios of the type of tactics which I would be pleased to see.

The Mages and Sorcerers guilds joining forces against the Loremasters in order to up both their points. They are both doing miserably at the moment.

Rituals + absolution = fast deaths and big points. Two guilds, using their skills to a tactical advantage over a guild they currently have no hope of drawing level with on their own.

Another would be to see the Artisans join forecs with the Paladins or Knights. The mobility of the Loremasters profession combined with the hitting power of the Knight.

Yet another would be to see the Thieves and the Craftmasters join up under the agreement that the Thieves will only yank the Loremasters through staves and not receive the points themselves. For the Thieves, although their own points would not rise, they would see their biggest rival's points go down. It would not make sense for the Craftmasters to agree to letting the Thieves receive any of the points however. That would not help them.

An example of going completely against the spirit of the tournament however

would be to see the Loremasters and the Cavaliers joining forces. The Cavaliers have nothing to gain for themselves in helping the Loremasters and indeed should be considering them their main competitor, not an ally. The only reason they could have would be to see the Sceptre in their city. This won't be allowed to happen.

There are plenty of combinations which you could think of to swing the balance of the tournament away from its current trend and still not go against the spirit of it.
