Guild Tournament.

Mephisto, god of the nightto Everyone

Today the Guild Tournament has begun. It will run for approximately seven full Avalon months, ending on Monday the 12th of December.

The tournament is designed to pit guild against guild and you are free to use any tactics you wish to gain as many points are you are able. I do not want to hear complaints about teaming. By entering your guild into the tournament you accept that it is a guild (team) conflict. Having said that, I would remind people that the size of your opponent in comparison to your own is taken into account when awarding points. The repeated slaying of one person who is a lot smaller than you are, and especially in

teams, will gain you very few points.

Finally, it is important that the barony of each city involved understands one vital aspect of this tournament. Each guild that enters understands that they are fair game no matter where they stand in Avalon. No guild was forced to join. I therefore do not expect to see any city interfere with this tournament and the spirit with which it has been undertaken. Banning the slaying of any citizen who is a member of a participating guild by another citizen of another participating guild will be considered

as interference.

Any guild who wishes to bow out after clarification on this matter is welcome to approach me over

the next few days.

I will be awarding bonus points to anyone who demonstrates impressive leadership and or successful

Good luck to all!
