Congratulations firstly to the Paladins guild for holding my Sceptre for a
respectable length of time. Now that it has been dominated, and removed
from the Paladin's control, a new Guild Tournament will begin presently.
Congratulations to those who banded together in order to wrestle the
Sceptre from the Paladin's guild. I am sure, those of you who have spent
time learning its ways, understand how difficult this task can be.
To the future. When the initial idea for the Guild Tournament was
conceived, there was envisioned an epic battle where city ties counted for
nought. The objective of this Tournament is to pit guild against guild.
For centuries the various guilds and their skills have been discussed.
Which is the most powerful? Who stands mightier than their peers? This
tournament is a chance to prove yourself right. Guild leadership and
individual prowess both have a chance to turn the tide in this tournament.
For those who wish to take part in the up-coming quest, read HELP 25.13 or
HELP GUILDTOURN. There will be a period of a few days to allow all those
guilds who wish to participate in the Tournament, to join.
Let it be known, as specified in the help files, that superior or
imaginative tactics and inventive leadership will be rewarded as the Guild
Tournament continues. Excessive cheap slayings of weaker opponents, as a
calculated number crunching exercise will only receive distain and will be
unlikely to aid you in this Tournment.
Good luck all,
Let the Tournament begin.
