I think I can see what you're hinting at, but I can't help feel that if we were to spell out a few specific cases it would help illustrate your point fully.

Specifically, which issues are being dealt with, or have recently been dealt with, by the Thakrian barony in a way which you consider to be inept or unrepresentative? Is it the entire barony which consider to be flawed or are there individuals who you

feel are abusing their power?

I can empathise with your feeling that the illusion of power can go to people's heads and be a corrupting force on their wisdom and sanity. Although I suspect that some people are more wise and sane to begin with and perhaps the people you find at fau

lt were not strong in those areas to begin with?

Such change as you are clearly in favour of must be introduced systematically, what decisions would you say should be put to the popular vote first? Decisions regarding city shop prices? or the enemy status of citizens of other cities? or the appointm

ent of aides? or the overall military plans of the city?

I find your last comment about personal squabbles in office not leading to city-wide war and prejudice particularyl interesting. I would urge you to shame the buffoons resposible publicallly on this board and let the public who elected them see them f

or what they are.

Good luck with your cause.
