Proteus, god of the seato Everyone

I get really angry when people kill people who are in challenges, but I have to say as of late I have seen people challenge and then take ridiculous amounts of time to start fighting.

Without naming names, today I witnessed someone challenge another and then mix a half dozen potions for someone else while telling the other person in the challenge to wait. They then proceeded to ask around for herbs and other materials so they could

engage in the challenge.

In the interim, other people began attacking loremaster type who cursed his attackers out for interfering in a challenge. (By this time, it had been 20 minutes since the challenge was issued) and people were attacking his opponent who had been ready s

ince the issuing and was asking when the heck things were going to start.

To those of you engaging in mutual challenges-1) Don't accept the challenge if you are not prepared. If you haven't begun to immediately engage your opponent or at least started jockeying for position, you won't get a lot of sympathy if people kill yo

u because you are still collecting yourself 10 minutes later.

2)-If you are in a mutual challenge and your opponent keeps saying wait, wait, wait--go ahead and kill them. How much more fair can you get after publically saying you were going to try to kill them and having them agree you should come and try? They

dishonor you by wasting your time after agreeing to fight you.

I want to thank those who did attack the principals in this matter and withdrew and apologized when the challenge was pointed out (and suffered the indignities of tsk, tsks from the ill-prepared person who was delaying the challenge.)
