Druid Bosno, Jack-In-The-Greento Everyone

Greetings all,

Well, I go away for a few days and all hell breaks loose! Just a few comments on some of the posts about the bandits' raid. I have no real problem with it, as it was bound to happen sooner or later. Clever of Thakria to use bandit troops instead of th

eir own, however - puts up that slight fog of confusion that allows the aggressors to claim it was just a 'guild thing'.

You found fortifications in our guild because many centuries ago, the Animists gave up guild troops, as they did not really fall in with our philosophy. At that time (I am assured by Animists older than me) our guild was given an element of Divine Pro

tection for this sacrifice. This has obviously worn off over the years! Fortifications are the only way we have to protect our guild area, and are not out of place in a non-combat guild, as they do nothing until assaulted.

Cimares complained about the number of deaths inflicted by Fizzy using decompose. The Grove is our home and a spot holy to our Guild Patron. Decompose has always been a legitimate defence of this area, and under such assault as I can gather was taking

place, Fizzy was fully justified in his use of it. If you don't like the fruit, stay out of the forest.

While I respect the right of any Immortal to do as they wish, I would hope that the mortals of this land are allowed to move on from this event without having to wonder if their actions are going to be vetoed from above. Do it if it warrants it, but a

t least be fair.

That's enough from me - I'm off to do some rebuilding before the next Thakrian (sorry, Bandit) raid. Those of you around the land that believe us biased - you're wrong, but that's hardly likely to change your mind. Those that believe us neutral - we a

re and always have been. Those that aren't sure what to believe - ask one of us, as well as those in your city or guild and make your own minds up.

Be well, all of you.....
