Justice, competence and hope.

Genesis, the god of timeto Everyone

There have been an unusual number of lamentations about the present

state of affairs in Avalon. Avalon has always been a balance of

conflicts and protections, aiming to tread the line between allowing

the competitive to thrive but also giving the inevitable casualties

of one battle or another time to regroup, recover (protection) or opt

out for a time (pacifism).

Many will argue that this balance has, for whatever reason, been tipped

against one side too far to be redressed within the current gamesystem.

Rather than impose solutions prematurely, I'll offer this: Those who

feel that they cannot regain an even footing, or those who feel their

enjoyment of Avalon is being unreasonably infringed by the actions of

their persecutors... talk to me. I am always open to suggestions for

improvements to the mechanisms of checks and balances within the game.

Avalon can never reward or bolster the incompetent over the competent in

the ongoing conflict but it must perpetuate that conflict, providing

room for evolution of the competitors and a range of alternatives for

those wishing to tread different paths. With that in mind, address your

observations/suggestions to me directly.
