Debating skillsets always comes down to one final point.
Some players can 'win' or 'succeed' with whatever skillsets they are given.
The use of skillsets is FAR more important than what those skillsets actually contain.
I've seen it proved time and time again.
If you think a guild's skills are weighted against you, the chances are you're just not good enough yet.
Today it's Seers in the limelight, tommorrow it'll be mages or loremasters...or thieves...
We all have the skills, whatever they may be, but only some of us have the skill to use those skills.
The other thing I recall is that no matter how much moaning was done about a skillset, they rarely got changed.
Balance is an odd thing, you can so rarely see how fragile it is from standing at one end of the beam.
