Not that your opinion is of any consequence but as there are either

ignorant elder players like you or unknowing younger players I will explain

my comment about how it can be a \"struggle\" to kill certain individuals.

In past times it was only really thieves (sewers) and sorcerers (dark void) and heavily

god marked spots that were truly safe locations where people could not get to you.

There was of course the pool and for a time nasty defensive forts that people used to

sit next to but all in all not many safe locations.

Now there are comms areas and worse still shop storerooms - also rangers have

treetops as a retreat.

Combine this with sad individuals using movement macros to get to these safe places almost instantly

and yes it means that for someone who wants to run it can be very hard to pin them

down to kill.

This has led to a new breed of \"smaller\" player who can make themselves

most annoying (stopping stave felling etc) yet because of the tactics they employ are

very tricky to pin down to kill.

The point is escape in avalon is not treally that hard is thats what you put

your efforts into - however (and I am guilty of this myself) sometimes the best

defence rather than running is using the skills you have and fighting back yourself.
