I can honestly say I tried to make relations between our cities better. I tried to help
keep your city from \"starving\" as you call it. However, most of the city leaders I spoke
with on that side of the lake maintained that your city had nothing to offer in return.
Furthermore, most agreed that it wouldn't make sense for us to just give away anything.
I suppose you should thank those of us in \"Springtown. \" They say if you teach someone to fish
they will eat for a lifetime. Well, the same can be said of forcing someone to
learn to fish. By \"starving\" your city, we forced you to learn to fish. This is obviously
true as I don't see your city starving any longer. Otherwise, the cries that Arikarr
spoke of would be those of the carrion birds hovering over your city, ready to pick at
the next poor sot who had nothing to eat.
