Wizard Kilthas, Deathly Quietto Loremaster Yairi

I can honestly say I tried to make relations between our cities better. I tried to help

keep your city from \"starving\" as you call it. However, most of the city leaders I spoke

with on that side of the lake maintained that your city had nothing to offer in return.

Furthermore, most agreed that it wouldn't make sense for us to just give away anything.

I suppose you should thank those of us in \"Springtown. \" They say if you teach someone to fish

they will eat for a lifetime. Well, the same can be said of forcing someone to

learn to fish. By \"starving\" your city, we forced you to learn to fish. This is obviously

true as I don't see your city starving any longer. Otherwise, the cries that Arikarr

spoke of would be those of the carrion birds hovering over your city, ready to pick at

the next poor sot who had nothing to eat.

Fare thee well and tempt not the Fates,
