I found Linnaeus' actions a bit disconcerting. He did indeed forestbar and eject us from the forest... he did this to Allanon at least twice. While I was standing in the forest in conversation with someone, he returned and forestbarred again. We were not killing anyone or anything!
As for Allanon's attack I cannot comment there but to say Allanon did repeatedly speak to Linnaeus and warned him to stop or be attacked. On one occasion, Linnaeus had threatened to decompose Allanon.
I would say to Linnaeus, perhaps you have seen the light but your zealous nature seems to reveal there is still a warrior-type spirit that has yet to be subjected to the light and undergo the necessary transformations that would be convincing to the rest of us.
