Billing is processed directly through Avalon for your security where you can purchase a subscription, procure lessons, equipment and services for your character, or real-world products.
The automated in-game billing is currently switched ON. This means billing is handled internally for subscriptions, procurements and purchases and you should NOT deal with any third party services to process Avalon related transactions. Our system is all in-game and billing is parsed by the Wells Fargo banking network.
To subscribe all you need do is type SUBSCRIBE and follow the straightforward process, entering valid and precise details (important to satisfy security requirements) and finally confirming your subscription choice. You will set in motion an automated monthly or quarterly "unlimited Avalon play" and can terminate at any time by typing UNSUBSCRIBE or e-mailing our accounts and admin address.
Use the UPDATE command if you wish to update your details, so you have accurate payment information on Avalon's system but without affecting your subscription or subscribing e..g. if you are sponsored or have a lifetime subscription. This command DOES NOT bill anything.
PURCHASE <goods/service> or
PROCURE FROM STORE.
You can use the PURCHASE command to buy equipment and services for your Avalon character from the "Old Curiosity Shops" located around the land. See HELP SHOPPING for detailed info on this invaluable service. You may also use PROCURE FROM STORE to look over Avalon literature and merchandise available for purchase (and subsequent hardcopy delivery) such as the Great Book or the Avalon Beginners Guide.
HELP SPONSORSHIP and
Young players or returning seniors should peruse HELP SPONSORSHIP for details of the sponsorship system which allows you to play Avalon without charge yet with all the advantages of a fully-subscribed persona. It is a meritocracy commanded by your city or your guild. High rank citizens or guild elders should check out HELP SPONSORING for info on the commands you will need to know, to initiate a sponsorship or check up on those your city or guild sponsors.
