21.20 OLD:The manning of fortifications.
Fortifications may be manned by troops to increase both their offensive and defensive capabilities. Only city troops are willing to man fortifications. The size of the fort determines how many legions it can hold (See HELP ALGORITHMS for the number). To order men into the fortifications, use ORDER <legion> MAN <direction> <number of men>. You must be in a location adjacent to the fortifications you wish to man. The direction is the direction of the fortifications in relation to yourself. Fortifications must be raised in order that they be manned.
To remove men from fortifications, use UNMAN FORTIFICATIONS <direction> <number of men>. You must be in a location adjacent to the fortifications you wish to unman. The direction is the direction of the fortifications in relation to yourself. After the command is completed, the troops will be in your location. For example: If you are unmanning 200 troops from fortifications in the location west of you, the command would be UNMAN FORTIFICATIONS WEST 200. The troops would leave the fortifications to the west and finish your location.
See HELP ALGORITHMS for details on the formula used.
