30.15 Forthcoming Events in Avalon.
Most events in Avalon are not pre-planned but a result of the ebb and flow of its peoples, cities and guilds. Conflicts, large or small, often spring up quickly and are not controlled in advance by the Gods. Divinely organised events though are often listed here with exact dates included when known. Times shown here are in London time (GMT or, during summer, BST). Look at HELP TIMEZONES for help on converting this to your local time.
No specific gem-quest events are currently planned.
Flag Quest or Immortal Combats (with varying rulesets) shall be available on request - subject to deity approval. So ask if you want to practice your knowledge of the Battleisle or the Underworld for the Diamond Quest. Type RULES for Quest specifics.
The BATTLEPHASE has been extended for a further week to allow for the activations of abilities across many profoessions without interference with the Diamond Gem Quest; but this will also ensure a further Gem Quest to round off the battlephase period most likely on the third or last weekend of July 2012. Keep your eyes peeled.
Of the fifteen divine gems the Moonstone, the Malachite, the Coral, the Cornelian and the Ruby have been quested and won. The Diamond shall be won by the end of the Battlephase.
Seven further gems shall be contender over August, September and October: the Onyx, the Topaz, the Ebony, the Pearl, the Opal, the Amber, and the Ruby. Then November/December the Sapphire of double-speed and multiple equilibrium shall be quested, followed by the Emerald of Life and finally the Amethyst of Time and we shall have ordained a new God.
The powers and some summary info on gem quests can be found by typing HELP <gem> e.g. HELP DIAMOND; rules and teams and info specific to the Gem Quest itself will be found when you type RULES close to the day of the scheduled event.
