29.14 Auctions for artifacts and treasure.

There are often auctions, accessible by all of appropriate rank, for major artifacts or treasures. These auctions take bids in lessons over a period of a designated number of days and, at the end, the highest bidder wins the artifact. All losing bidders receive back the lessons they have bid. The artifact will belong, then, to that highest bidder and he will be able to reclaim it instantly whenever it is lost or stolen.

BID <auction number> <lessons to bed> <artifact>
To bid in a specific auction, use this command. You will be able to increase previous bids by any number of lessons (providing you have them to spare) to keep pace with events.
